Bradley Walsh is said to have splashed out approximately £400,000 on some forest in Essex – right by the M25 motorway.
The Chase host lives in a massive, posh barn conversion in Epping with his wife and son but has now acquired this plot of land, estimated to span about 44 acres.
It is unclear what the 60-year-old TV star is planning to do with it.
Recently, a bulldozer was spotted on the land, located next to one of the busiest and noisiest roads in the country.
According to The Sun, the land was bought for £400,000 by Bradley’s company Barnstormer Holdings Ltd.
Meanwhile, Bradley recently attended the BAFTA TV awards.
He was up against six other stars for Best Entertainment Performance but sadly lost out to Romesh Ranganathan, 43, who fronts his own show, The Ranganation.
But before he got up onto the stage, Bradley could be seen making a cheeky dig after failing to pick up the gong.
He lowered his mask for the camera and mouthed: “I don’t believe it,” as he shook his head.
Romesh walked up to collect his award but that wasn’t the end of the banter between the funny pair.
But it was clearly a bit of light-hearted fun as Bradley could be seen cheering Romesh on.
“Oh wow,” Romesh said, with Bradley heckling the comedian, shouting: “It’s a farce!”
Yeah, shut up Bradley,” he replied with the ITV teatime host laughing off his comment.
Before hosting the Chase Bradley also dabbled in acting and played Danny Baldwin in Coronation Street in 2004.
He followed Corrie with the lead role of DS Ronnie Brooks in the successful series Law & Order: UK and then starred as Graham O’Brien in BBC hit Doctor Who.
Not only that, Bradley is a talented singer – no end to his skills, it seems.
In 2016 he released Chasing Dreams and a year later the follow-up When You’re Smiling, both of which reached the top 15 in the UK Albums Chart.
If acting, presenting and singing wasn’t enough, Bradley was also a talented footballer when he was younger.
Aged 18 he landed a professional contract with now Championship club Brentford.
He didn’t quite cement a regular first-team place, but enjoyed a loan spell at fellow London club Barnet and then went on to play for Tring Town, Borehamwood and Chalfont St Peter before embarking on a career change.
Bradley has been married to choreographer Donna since 1997 and they share a son, Barney, 23.
Daily Star has contacted Bradley’s spokeswoman for comment.
