The Only Way Is Essex fans have hit out at the show after bosses decided to continue filming in bars and restaurants despite the ongoing lockdown.
On Sunday night viewers of hit ITV reality TV show took to social media to slam the decision, arguing that it made them jealous.
At the start of the episode, a disclaimer message appeared on the screen informing viewers that that venues were opened exclusively for the cast to film.
It added that social distancing guidelines were adhered to.
But while bosses were trying to keep the illusion that it’s business as usual the move seems to have backfired.

Taking to Twitter, one fan hit out: “These venues must have been paid a decent amount of money for them to open just to film whilst we are all stuck at home.”
Another added: “This episode is embarrassing. Really really cringe.
“The fakeness knowing everyone else is in lockdown is disgusting.”
A third chimed in: “Anyone else just wanna go sit in a bar with their friends and enjoy a few glasses of wine, good good and great company?”

Meanwhile, a fourth vented: “Pubs and gyms are closed because of lockdown yet they can open to film The Only Way Is Essex. What an absolute joke!”
Over the weekend, TOWIE regular Bobby Norris took to Instagram to reveal he is taking a break from the show which made him a household name.
In a catty post, Bobby took a swipe at those who work on the show.
Bobby, 34, said: “I am VERY sad and surprised that after 10 years the few cast members that have been around nearly as long as me have a problem in speaking up and telling the TRUTH and helping to have my back (which is a shame as I like to think that I have defended every single one of them in their various break ups and fall outs..) well, NO MORE!!

“People’s true colours have well and truly been shown tonight.. and it is with a heavy heart that I say after 10 years on the show after next weeks episode I am taking a break from @towie .. I just cannot be on a show with my compulsive liar ex boyfriend trying to rewrite history and ruing my life as well as turning my friendship group against me.[sic]”
Bobby split with his boyfriend Matt Snape during the last series of TOWIE.
