YouTuber Zoella gives birth to first daughter with Alfie Deyes

YouTube stars Zoe Sugg and Alfie Deyes, known to millions as Zoella and PointlessBlog, have announced the arrival of their firstborn.

The content creators, who started dating after meeting through YouTube, announced that they were expecting a daughter in March earlier this year.

Now, the couple have both taken to social media to share an adorable snap of their offspring, melting the hearts of their millions of fans.

Taking to her personal Instagram page, Zoe shared a snap of the youngster in her crib surrounded by a blanket.

Alongside the cute post, she penned: “She’s here! Meet Ottilie Rue Deyes. 29/08/21.”

Her long-term boyfriend, Alfie, also shared a similar snap of the newborn who is just several days old.

Alongside his post, he wrote: “Ottilie Rue Deyes <3 29/08/21.”

Fans and celebrity pals instantly flocked to the comment section of Zoe’s snap that has since been liked over 125,000 times in just a matter of minutes.

Zoe’s best friend and fellow YouTube star Louise Pentland penned: “Congratulations! Gorgeous, gorgeous little girl!! Xxx.”

“Oh my life, Congratulations, she’s absolutely gorgeous,” wrote one.

While a second added: “Congratulations and hello Ottilie!”

“Congratulations, she’s absolutely gorgeous!!!” exclaimed a third.

Before a fourth typed: “Ohhhhh wow!!!! She is beautiful and what an absolutely stunning name…. Congratulations to you both .”

Zoe announced her pregnancy in March, sharing a video montage of her growing bump as well as several snaps of their ultrasound scans.

Announcing her news, she wrote: “We’re super excited to share with you, that our baby girl will be joining us in September.”

Since then, the sister of Strictly Come Dancing star Joe Sugg has updated fans throughout her pregnancy, showcasing her blossoming bump over the summer months as she embraced being pregnant.

The new parents started dating in 2012 after meeting through the online platform and formed a group of close friends dubbed “The Brit Crew” alongside the likes of Louise Pentland, Tanya Burr, Marcus Butler, Niomi Smart and Jim Chapman.

Zoe has been hailed as one of Britain’s most successful YouTubers of all time, carving a career from scratch when YouTube was still classed as a small platform.

The Wiltshire-born beauty started to gain an online audience in 2009 after launching her online blog, Zoella, from which she gained her nickname.

In just a short period of time, she had attracted thousands of followers and the website that she started from her childhood bedroom in Wiltshire now boats billions of views.

Alongside her successful blog, Zoe is known for her YouTube presence, where she has amassed an impressive 11 million subscribers on her main channel and a further 4.91 million on her second channel, MoreZoella.
