Jenna Jameson has revealed that she is able to walk again after a battle against a mystery illness saw her lose her mobility.
The former adult film star took to Instagram to share her slow yet successful progress after she was hospitalised in January after coming down with a mystery illness.
Speaking via her Instagram story, the 47-year-old actress said: “I wanna show you guys that I’m walking, unaided. I mean, I’m not walking perfectly but at least I’m up on my feet.”

Jenna’s last update a month ago revealed she was no longer wheelchair bound, but still needed aid when walking.
At the time, she said: ‘Hey guys, so a little update. I am up and walking with my walker. I’m doing it with one hand right now, usually I’m a little bit more nimble. But I’m up and about. Trying to phase out the wheelchair.’
In March she was misdiagnosed with Guillain-Barre syndrome and explained that she was aiming to build back the muscle in her legs after suffering with nerve issues.
She said: ‘I am slowly but surely building back strength. I am walking around — with a walker.”
“My legs have lost a lot of muscle so I am busy trying to build it back.”
Jenna reassured fans that she was not completely paralysed, but had little nerve damage that she’s currently working on improving.
‘As you can see, yes, I’m able to move my legs. I’m not paralysed. I am just dealing with extreme muscle weakness. Some issues with my left nerve.’
On Wednesday she shared another clip of her walking, flexing her feet in the Instagram story, saying: “I’m feeling better. I’m able to walk pretty well. How cool is that? Feeling a lot better.”
Jenna – who shares a four-year-old daughter, Batel Lu, with her partner Lior Bitton – admitted her recovery is ‘messy’ but she like ‘a good challenge’.
She said: “This has been not only physically taxing but I think, more than that, just really mentally challenging. Very mentally challenging.”
