Alison Hammond has been inundated with messages from her celebrity pals as she celebrated her son Aidan’s latest achievement.
The 47-year-old This Morning presenter took to social media on Tuesday (June 28) to announce her 17-year-old son had passed his driving test.
Sharing her pride on Instagram, Alison posted a snap of Aidan holding a driving test certificate and an ‘L’ plate.

The teen posed for the snap whilst leaning against a red Mini parked in their driveway.
Documenting the moment, the mum-of-one penned: “Proud Parent Moment!!! He passed, well done Aidan. Your independence starts now.”
Alison shares her son with ex-husband Noureddine Boufaied, with the star falling pregnant shortly after appearing on the third season on Big Brother in 2002.
It didn’t take long for Alison’s showbiz friends to show their support to Aidan.
This Morning’s Holly Willoughby wrote: “Amazing!!!!! And he’s off!”
Dermot O’Leary added: “Off he goes!”
Alexandra Burke commented: “Awwww !!! Well done Aidan xxx.”
Kate Garraway shared: “And yours too – no more mummy taxi!”
While Ruth Langsford said: “Congrats Aidan… Freedom!”
Meanwhile, it comes after Alison was forced to hit back at feud claims with co-presenter Dermot O’Leary.
The pair take on hosting duties at This Morning every Friday after replacing Ruth Langsford and Eamonn Holmes.
However, it’s since been reported that Alison and Dermot don’t have the best relationship behind-the-scenes at the ITV show.
A source claimed to MailOnline: “They came from very different backgrounds. Dermot has been a big star for many years and has presented some big shows, while Alison has always wanted a less high-profile career and has far less experience.”
In addition, the presenters reportedly struggled to “hit it off” and have been “bickering” behind the scenes.
However, a This Morning spokesperson was quick to hit back at the rumours.
Speaking to The Mirror, the insider said: “Alison and Dermot have developed a firm friendship and their chemistry has proved a ratings success. Since the pandemic ended, the pair are able to enjoy socialising together post the show.”
Alison shot to fame as a contestant on Big Brother, while Dermot started his career as a radio presenter for Essex Radio.
He was later snapped up to present X Factor in 2007.
Despite the rumours, Alison appears to be happier than ever after hitting it off with a new love interest.
Speaking about her new man on ITV’s Lorraine, she shared: “All I’m going to say is, I’m not going to say ‘love’ and everything like that, all I’m going to say is he makes my heart sing, he enriches my life in ways I’ve never had before.”
After touching upon the relationship, Lorraine Kelly urged her that she “didn’t have to say any more than that” and the pair moved on.
