Amanda Holden mesmerises fans as she 'makes overalls look sexy' in DIY show

Amanda Holden left fans baffled at her new look when she announced her new DIY TV show, The Italian Job.

The radio presenter is set to host the BBC DIY show alongside comedian and close pal Alan Carr. Both posted snaps of them decorating in overalls and steel toe-capped boots to their Instagram accounts to announce the show’s arrival.

Amanda posted a hilarious photo of Alan, seemingly asleep in a wheelbarrow, which she struggled to hold up, adding the caption: “Presenting your new DIY bosses !! The BEST time filming this, swapping our high heels for hard hats … and we weren’t shy of a power tool or two!”

“@chattyman’s shameless bargaining also kept us on budget”, she concluded.

One fan instantly fell in love with Amanda’s new look.

“You make overalls look sooooo sexy…”, they wrote with a heart-eye emoji.

Another was excited to see the new presenting duo at work and added: “I mean this is the best combo not gonna lie”

One of Amanda’s followers loved her funny picture, commenting: “I see your workmate is “Well plastered!”.”

While another was looking forward to see the Britain’s Got Talent judge try something new: “Haha welcome to my world, playing with power tools all day”.

Over on Alan’s Instagram, where he posted a wholesome snap of the pair decorating, one fan wasn’t too keen on Amanda’s new venture.

“How on earth does Amanda have the ability to keep reinventing herself?” they commented.

Others were more excited for the new show, with one writing: “Can’t wait to see this, Telly has been so boring lately x”.

“Can’t wait @noholdenback and @chattyman !! So excited!!”, a second wrote.

Alan had posted the photo to his 1.1 million followers, adding the caption: “Meet your new DIY bosses. Loved working with @noholdenback from the top of my hard hat to the bottom of my steel toe-capped boots.”

The Italian Job starts on BBC and BBC iPlayer from Friday 6th January.
