Our Yorkshire Farm star Amanda Owen has admitted that her now estranged husband Clive would not be happy with the changes she has made to Ravenseat Farm.
She appeared on James Martin’s Saturday Morning in 2021 and spoke about her role on the farm, revealing that she has made some big changes since she first moved there.
James asked her: “So, the farm has changed since you first met your partner? Have you managed to change that because you and Clive must be quite stuck in your ways, in terms of the sheep farmers up there. Have you managed to put your spin on it?”

The mother-of-nine then replied: “I probably have. If you could see into a crystal ball to see where we are now, he would be quite surprised.
“He has definitely got his head around the old pasta bake and things are obviously busy, but it’s good.”
James went on to ask her about the “transition” when she first moved there, which “must have been a hell of a shock” as although she was “into farming anyway,” Ravenseat is situated in a “pretty remote part of the world”.
Amanda explained to him: “It is very remote, it’s built as one of the highest, remotest hill farms in England.
“I mean, it is a challenging place at the best of times. There is a certain amount you have to adapt to the ways of the place and it certainly moulds your whole character.”
The Ravenseat matriarch confided in James and said that “self sufficiency” is “one of the key things that she had to get her head around” as supplies and support are “not to hand”.
Amanda then explained that when she is on the farm, she has to “work with the produce” and “what she has”.
The Yorkshire Shepherdess announced her split from husband Clive Owen after over two decades of marriage.
She took to her Instagram account to tell her 524,000 followers that she and her partner of 22 years will be heading their separate ways.
Although the pair will no longer be a couple, they have assured fans that they will “continue to work on the farm and co-parent” their nine children together as their “number one priority” is the “happiness and wellbeing of their kids”.
