Amber Heard admitted to hitting Johnny Depp in audio recordings that were heard in court at the £100million defamation trial.
Depp, 58, is suing his former wife for defamation, saying her domestic abuse claims have harmed his career and reputation.
The ongoing defamation trial, taking place in America, heard audio recordings of Depp and his ex-wife Amber Heard talking about a fight that had previously taken place.
The recordings appeared to have been recorded by Depp, and the discussion on the recording heard Heard admitting to hitting her ex-husband.
In one clip Heard tells Depp: “I didn’t punch you.
“I’m sorry I didn’t hit you across the face in a proper slap.
“I was hitting you, it was not punching you.”
Depp then replied: “Don’t tell what it feels like to be punched.”
Heard responded: “You’ve been in a lot of fights, you’ve been around a long time.
“You didn’t get punched. You got hit. I’m sorry I hit you like this, I didn’t punch you. I did not fu**ing deck you.
“I fu**ing was hitting you. I don’t know what the motion of my actual hand was. You’re fine. I did not hurt you, I did not punch you, I was hitting you. I’m not sitting here bit**ing about.”
Heard then added: You’re a fu**ng baby. You are such a baby! Grow the f**k up Johnny.”
Depp then said that it was a physical fight, to which Heard said: “I did start a physical fight,” and Depp responded: “I got the f**k out of there.”
Heard said: “You are admirable,” in a sarcastic tone.
This comes as the trial continues after Depp sues his ex-wife for defamation.
The actress, 35, has filed a countersuit against Depp seeking almost £78million in damages and saying his legal team falsely accused her of fabricating claims against the actor.
Heard’s counterclaim accuses Depp of orchestrating a “smear campaign” against her and describing his lawsuit as a continuation of “abuse and harassment.”
