Amber Heard has admitted that she did not love her ex-boyfriend, billionaire entrepreneur Elon Musk, during a testimony for Johnny Depp’s defamation case against her.
Johnny and Amber began dating in 2012 but after the pair split up in 2016, she began a relationship with CEO of Tesla and current richest man in the world Elon Musk.
The Pirates Of The Caribbean actor is currently suing Heard for defamation.
The couple’s former talent agent Christian Carino testified in the trial and texts between Carino and Heard were presented.
In messages dating back to August 2017, Carino and Heard discussed her break-up with Elon going public.
One text read: “Dealing with breakup. I hate when things go public. C, I’m so sad.”
Carino replied: “You weren’t in love with him and you told me a thousand times you were just filling space.”
Amber then asked Christian to clarify what he meant.
He responded: “I’m saying, why would you be sad if you weren’t in love with him to begin with?”
Amber said she “knew” but wanted to “grieve and recover” in her own time.
Carino also later informed Amber that she could “avoid” getting hurt by refraining from “dating uber-famous people”.
Her relationship with Elon began in 2016, after her split from ex-husband Johnny Depp and Elon’s divorce from ex-wife Talulah Riley was finalised.
As the exact dates as to when they began their relationship are unclear, Johnny’s legal team is currently suggesting that Amber cheated on him with Elon.
However Musk has confirmed in a statement that his relationship with Amber did not cross paths with her marriage to Johnny.
Their relationship reportedly came to an end in August 2017.
Musk has spoken on the matter and said that “although they did break up” the pair “are still friends, remain close and love one another”.
He then said that long distance relationships are “always difficult” when “both partners have intense work obligations”, but said he didn’t know “what the future holds”.
