Former MP Ann Widdecombe failed to mince her words during the latest episode of The Chase Celebrity Special, as she appeared to lash out at presenter Bradley Walsh by labelling him an “idiot”.
The iconic Strictly star did very well for herself on the popular ITV show and seemed eager to answer questions during the second round.
As Ann constantly chimed in before Bradley finished his questions, the host jokingly told the star to “hold on”.
But a confident Ann told Bradley off when he suggested that viewers at home may want to guess the answer too to an Oliver Cromwell question.
In response, Ann snapped: “They’re all shouting Cromwell, you idiot.”

Roaring with laughter, the studio also audience appeared amused by Anne’s upfront nature.
But this wasn’t the only dig Ann made while appearing on The Chase.
When faced with a query regarding American rappers, Ann had to make the choice of deciding to choose rapper Snoop Dogg or Jay Z.
Sharing her thoughts Ann admitted she preferred the sound of Snoop Dogg because Jay Z sounded like a “loo cleaner”.
Seeing the politician on screen, fans couldn’t wait to share their opinions online.
Taking to Twitter, one viewer wrote: “ICONIC #AnneWiddecombe.”
Another said: “Ann did well,” followed by a laughing emoji.
Comedian Jimmy Carr, and singing duo Sam and Mark also appeared alongside Ann on Sunday’s celebrity special programme.
And as a team, all members performed exceptionally well, making it back safely home despite chaser Jenny Ryan hot on their tales.

But last contestant Jimmy made sure he went for the big bucks and managed to secure £82,000 for his team.
Seeing the tension mount, fans jumped back on Twitter, hoping the team were able to beat the chaser in the final round.
One person penned: “£82k get in! Now you better win the lot.”
Meanwhile, another said: “Can’t stand Jimmy Carr but hope he wins.”

However one viewer thought Jimmy’s questions were quite easy and said: “#thechase could @jimmycarr’s questions be any easier?”
Luck was certainly on the celebs side as they managed to answer 19 questions between them.
Having been pushed back, chaser Jenny couldn’t catch her bearings and stumbled with seconds to spear.
With time not on her side, the celebs managed to walk away with £100,000 to split between their charities.
