Ant and Dec 'cringe' over 'deliciously awkward' rising tensions in I'm A Celeb camp

I’m a Celebrity … Get Me Out of Here! presenters Ant McPartlin and Dec Donnelly gasped at “deliciously awkward” tensions in Tuesday night’s episode.

Ant and Dec watched the “cringe” scenes as Boy George slated Charlene White, saying: “There’s this controlling side and then there’s this caring side and it confuses me,” just as she walked in, potentially hearing his remarks.

“Cringe, Cringe” Dec muttered to himself as he watched along live with co-host Ant.

The Karma Chameleon hit maker confided in the Bush Telegraph, revealing: “It’s so weird, that [food] bag comes down and Charlene just turns into an entirely different person.

“It’s amazing, she issues orders and tells everyone what to do. I’m like, ‘Wow’. You know, it’s like, ‘Who are you?’” he continued.

Boy George called Charlene a “bossy boots” in Monday’s episode

George spoke to A Place In The Sun presenter Scarlette Douglas, who had also been feeling “controlled” by Charlene at dinner time.

“I just feel like Charlene’s very controlling. She tells you what to do and it really rubs you up the wrong way. I’m struggling with that, but I’ll get over it,” he revealed.

George revealed he felt that Charlene was “controlling”

After hearing Charlene rant about how to cut onions and sausages, Scarlette said: “This camp, aka ‘Charlene’s kitchen’, you do what she says, when she says it, get it right.”

Later in the episode, Boy George took charge, telling Charlene: “It might be good to say to people, ‘Right you do this today.’ Otherwise I’m going to feel like I’m not doing anything.”

Boy George told Charlene to give him something to do

“So Charlene, I don’t mind if you tell me what to do but give me some jobs if you’re going to be the boss.”

Charlene replied: “I’m not being the boss.”

But George insisted: “You are being the boss baby.”

Charlene had an entirely different view of the situation, telling the Bush Telegraph there was “no leader” in camp.

Charlene told the Bush Telegraph the camp was a “democracy”

“We are the democracy of the jungle. There is no leader, we haven’t told everybody what their roles are, we’ve just not done that, kind of fallen into roles,” she said.
