Bargain Hunt saw one lucky couple take home a healthy profit after they discovered a hidden gem they flogged.
This week’s episode saw hopeful profit-makers Nathalie and Karl join the show as they tried to bag a bargain after being tasked with finding a money-making fashion accessory.
The pair splashed out on a £130 vintage men’s Omega watch hoping it would be the right choice to see them rake in a healthy profit.

While £130 might not sound like much to some, the price tag for the piece – which originated from the 1970s – was pretty high for Bargain Hunt.
The pair splurged almost their entire budget on the timepiece with just £20 left that they spent on a Clarice Cliff mustard pot that was missing its lid.
As show host Eric Knowles introduced the watch to the Somerset House based auction he teased the risk they had taken.
He said: “You paid £130. Let’s find out if fortune favours the brave.”
While it seemed that things could turn sour for the pair their risk-taking saw them get a great result as they doubled their money in a rarely-seen turn of events.
The pair managed to bag themselves a healthy £260 for the vintage piece as they jumped up and down to celebrate.
Congratulating them Eric said: “You doubled your money. Bought for £130, sold for £260. Good stuff, eh?”
Their success didn’t end their either – they managed to make a £4 profit on their mustard pot that was missing it’s lid, and another purchase they made – a set of bowls – made them a not too measly £16.
Their grand total profit was £149 – a pretty impressive total when it comes to Bargain Hunt where contestants often make barely any profit or in fact take a big loss.
Bargain Hunt airs on BBC One and BBC iPlayer.
