BBC Breakfast star Sally Nugent has always kept her cards close to her chest when it comes to her private life.
But the presenter, who usually sits alongside Dan Walker on the red sofa, gave fans a rare insight into her home with her husband and son.
Sally has never revealed the identities of her husband or son, though she has previously dished that her hubby treated her to a stunning vintage ring after their son was born.
He splurged on a “blue for a boy” vintage aquamarine ring, bought from Sally’s favourite jewellers in Richmond, London.
She previously explained to The Express: “I buy all my pieces from a friend, who runs a family jewellers called David M Robinson.
“Everything from my 21st birthday present from my parents and my Rolex watch to my engagement ring are from there.”
And now fans get another insight into her personal life as Sally let slip another snippet in an interview with RadioTimes.
Sally told the publication that her evenings at home are “precious”, busy as she is with BBC Breakfast and various other broadcasting responsibilities after being made Louise Minchin’s permanent replacement.
She explained of her hobbies: “I’m really selective as my life is so busy and my evenings so precious.
“I never watch anything remotely spooky because I’ll never sleep. No horror whatsoever, not in a million years.”
Sally has also shared rare glimpses into her home with fans on social media, treating her Instagram followers to views of her wood-panelled doors and floors as she competed in a charity cycling challenge – and even features a chandelier.
Her bedroom is comprised of a set of stunning beige curtains with a tall set of cream drawers, with a plush cream carpet to match.
As for her family, Sally is eager to show off at least one member with her fans – her adorable pooch, Sadie.
The sweet cavapoo – a mix of Cavalier King Charles and a toy poodle – is allowed to snuggle up with her mum on the couch for what presumably aren’t horror movie marathons!
And she’s spoken about her nan, who taught her how to knit, in the past.
She explained to The Express: “When I was nine years old, my nan taught me how to knit. I made my own rainbow tank top out of scraps of her spare mohair wool.
“It’s hideous but I thought it was the most beautiful thing I’d ever seen and must have worn it every day for a year. I still have it in my loft!”
