Britain’s Got Talent contestant Jonathan Antoine is unrecognisable ten years after he appeared on the BGT stage to win over the judges.
Jonathan was only 17 when he and partner Charlotte Jaconell took to the stage in 2012, with the pair managing to make it to second place behind Ashleigh and Pudsey.
Following the show, Jonathan and Charlotte were offered a £1m deal with Simon Cowell’s company Syco, but parted ways two years later.
A decade later, Jonathan has revealed he still lives with his mum, dad, and sister in Hainault, London.
He has also lost contact with Charlotte, admitting they haven’t spoken in years, but he would be open to a reunion in “20 years time”.
But one noticeable change over the last decade is Jonathan’s appearance, as he has managed to lose an impressive amount of weight over the last few years after dramatically overhauling his lifestyle and diet.
He told The Mirror: “I’ve still got a lot to lose but I’m making my way.
“I feel stronger and healthier than I have in 10 years, which is a lot.
“This year I’ve made an active choice. I’ve felt I’ve lacked the discipline a lot. When I was out in America its fast food everywhere.
“I was in a terrible state in the start of the year and I’ve been able to claw my way back doing light exercise.
“I’m a very big fella so heavy exercise would just tear me up. I’m working my way up, thinking about what I eat because that is important.”
Jonathan has managed to achieve impressive success in his music career, with his first solo album Tenore reaching number one in the Classical Artist Album chart.
He has also worked with exican operatic tenor Rolando Villazón and Italian painist Leone Magiera, who worked with Pavaroti.
BGT returns next Saturday at 8pm on ITV.
