Carol Vorderman couldn’t resist poking fun at Matt Hancock before the MP made his debut on I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! on Wednesday evening (November 9).
The Conservative MP, 44, arrived in the jungle alongside comedian Seann Walsh, with the pair making quite the entrance as they took on their first Bushtucker Trial Beastly Burrows.
Before the politician made his way onto screens, the Countdown star took to Instagram and filmed herself as she made her way to the This Morning studio to chat all things I’m A Celeb.

Sitting in the back of a taxi, the 61-year-old made a cheeky dig at the former Health Secretary as she subtly branded him a “c**k.”
Joking to her 276,000 followers that we have been pronouncing his surname incorrectly, Carol insisted: “Apparently, to say his name properly, the Han is silent. Who knew?”
“Matt c**k. Matt c**k. I think I’ve got it right.”
Keeping the dig going in the caption, the TV personality added: “Practising saying Matt Hancock correctly…. apparently the Han in Han-Cock is silent. Who knew.”

Clearly in support of Carol’s cheeky dig, fans of the presenter didn’t hesitate to join in on the fun in the comments.
One user penned: “I thought the Han was pronounced Total?”
“The Matt is also silent,” added another as a third joked: “correct pronunciation is EVERYTHING! [laughing emoji] I’m sure Mr ‘Hancock will appreciate the thought!”
Another quipped: “Fantastic… here’s hoping he suffers in the jungle,” while Loose Women star Denise Welch commented a slew of clapping emojis.
The MP was met with mix responses when he first arrived in camp, with Owen Warner prepared to give him the benefit of the doubt but campmates like Boy George and Sue Cleaver feeling particularly hostile towards him.
Unsurprisingly, it was confirmed at the end of last night’s show that the dad-of-three will be taking on the next grisly Bushtucker trial, Tentacles of Terror during tonight’s episode.
I’m A Celebrity continues tonight at 9pm on ITV
