Coleen Nolan has claimed she was swiping on Tinder so much she got cramp in her finger.
The Loose Women star finally found her new man Michael Jones on the dating app.
But she said she almost quit looking for love after so many swipes caused her an injury.
Coleen, 56, moaned: “Some people seem to think it’s funny that a woman in her mid-fifties is prepared to use an app in that way, but why not? I can swipe left or right with the best of them!
“Talking of which – and this is no word of a lie – one night I swiped left about two thousand times on Tinder. Honestly, I’m not joking!

“I actually got cramp in my finger by the end. How depressing is that, though?
“I thought to myself, I’m not doing this again. No disrespect to the men I swiped but I know my type and not one of them fitted the bill.
“Perhaps I’m getting choosier in my old age? Or should I say, more discerning?”
The twice-divorced singer, whose first husband was EastEnders star Shane Richie, said that most of her sisters have also used the dating app before.

But Coleen said in her book – Live. Laugh. Love – that she had to avoid “a lot of married men on Tinder” as well as punters after a celebrity conquest.
The TV personality added: “A problem I have is that I sometimes don’t know if somebody’s showing an interest in me because I’m famous or because they actually fancy me.

“Apart from having my wits about me there’s nothing I can really do so, unfortunately, I just have to go with the flow and hope for the best.
“If they are only talking to me because I’m famous it’ll usually show after time.
“I know pretty much straight away because all they want to know is what the girls are like on Loose Women, or what it was like being married to Shane.”
