Coleen Nolan’s son Jake Roche is now living in her garage and is on Universal Credit.
The former actor opened up during a recent interview where he branded himself a “failure”.
The band member previously starred on Emmerdale in 2010 where he played Hannah Barton’s friend Isaac Nuttal.

He also saw chart success with a pop career as the lead vocalist of the band Rixton.
The group hit number one with their track, Me and My Broken Heart.
Jake, 30, is the son of Loose Women’s Colleen and EastEnders Alfie Moon star Shane Richie.
The singer was also previously engaged to Little Mix singer Jesy Nelson, but the couple parted ways in 2016.
Jake has now shared his thoughts about his career on TikTok after one content creator asked him what he was up to nowadays.
Jake responded: “I’m on Universal Credit, and I live with my mum in her garage. I’m a failure.”
However, the kind TikTok user came back with: “Firstly I’d like to say you are not a failure.
“Everyone goes through hardships in life and you will get through yours.”
Jake then smiled and added: “Thank you, you are a legend.”
The musician has also appeared in BBC’s musical film Rules of Love and ITV drama Scott and Bailey.
Talking about his small role in Emmerdale, he cringed at the thought that being the son of soap star Shane gave him a leg up.
He once said: “When I was auditioning they didn’t know who my parents were and I’d also auditioned twice before, so they obviously didn’t care about that or they wouldn’t have turned me down.”
In more Loose Women news, Jake’s mum Coleen had recently given her co-star some ‘sexy’ advice.
To give Kaye Adams a tip for her Strictly performances, Coleen told her that she needs to “believe she is sexy”.
On Loose Women, Kaye said: “I know people say out of my comfort zone very lightly but boy you know me. I was so far out of my comfort zone it was unbelievable!”
Coleen said: “The thing is Kaye you looked fantastic. What a figure and what legs you’ve got.
“Can I just say that you were so good and you’re always putting yourself down and I know you don’t think you’re sexy. But you really are and I want you to believe it.”
