Coronation Street teen Summer Spellman (Harriet Bibby) finds herself the target of a sex scandal next week.
In upcoming scenes, the schoolgirl finds out that she’s had a conditional offer from Oxford University.
However, joy turns to devastation when she discovers that pictures of her are being circulated around Weatherfield.
Aadi Alahan (Adam Hussain) urges Amy McDonald (Elle Mulvaney) to bury the hatchet with Summer as they used to get on so well.
Summer returns home with a bag of junk food, but suddenly she’s startled when Amy appears.
She quickly hides the food, hoping Amy didn’t notice it.
Having clocked the sweets, Amy assures Summer it’s up to her what she eats.
A guilty Summer makes out they’re not for her. Summer returns home, takes out her stash of sweets and loads them into her school bag.
As Summer and Amy head out of the hospital after Summer’s diabetes appointment, Jacob Hay (Jack James Ryan) approaches with his arm in a sling.
Jacob assures them that he no longer has anything to do with the drugs gang. Amy orders him to stay away.
In Victoria Garden, Amy and Summer are disgusted to find Max Turner (Paddy Bever) looking at an upskirting photo on his phone.
Summer’s horrified to realise it’s a photo of her.
Amy and Asha Alahan (Tanisha Gorey) urge Summer to report the upskirting photo to the police, but Summer’s too embarrassed.
An annoyed Amy tears a strip off Max for looking at upskirting pictures and tells him she intends to find out who’s taking the photos and make sure they’re punished.
In the flat, Summer stuffs herself with chocolate and then heads to the bathroom where she makes herself sick.
Elsewhere in Weatherfield, Hope Stape (Isabella Flanagan) and Joseph Brown (William Flanagan) go missing after a devastating bullying plot.
Gemma’s (Dolly-Rose Campbell) busy getting Aled ready for his audiology appointment when Joseph reminds his dad Chesney (Sam Aston) that he needs money for the upcoming school trip, and a new school jumper.
When Joseph confides in Hope that they can’t afford it, she hands him Fiz’s (Jennie McApline) purse and tells him to help himself – but will he go ahead and steal the cash he’s eyeing up?
Chesney and Gemma are shocked and upset to learn that Joseph is being bullied at school because his parents can’t afford to buy him things.
Fiz suggests to her brother that he needs to start focusing more on his son.
But it isn’t long before Joseph – who is determined to make a point – goes missing, leading to his parents reporting his disappearance to the police.
As an officer heads out, Chesney heads out and scours the streets for his son, terrified for his safety.
Gemma soon comes out of No. 5 and reveals that his jumper has been found by the police, and Chesney feels sick at the news.
When Hope asks her mum what’s going on, Fiz explains to her that Joseph has gone missing.
After a fruitless night of searching, Chesney is at his wit’s end. His boss Dev offers to set up a fundraiser in order to offer a reward in exchange for information.
Back at Fiz’s, the mum orders Hope to tidy her room as someone is coming to value the house for her upcoming move with Phill. Hope watches from her bedroom window as a tearful Chesney and Gemma make a public appeal for Joseph’s safe return.
Meanwhile, a forlorn Joseph can be seen wandering the streets, armed with a holdall and a rolled up tent.
A worn out Chesney confides in Gemma that he fears he’ll never see his son again.
But he isn’t the only one in trouble. Evelyn Plummer (Maureen Lipman) is simultaneously horrified to find that Hope has slipped out while her back was turned.
Having called Tyrone and made sure Hope isn’t with him, Fiz is beside herself.
Will both Joseph and Hope made it back alive?
Also, Alya Nazir (Sair Khan) tells Ryan Connor (Ryan Prescott) that she is worried that Zeedan (Qasim Akhtar) will end up telling Marrium (Kiran Landa) the truth about her dad’s death.
Zeedban and Ryan decide to buy a new dishwasher from a mate of Bernie’s with Hashim’s dirty cash.
Meanwhile, a concerned Yasmeen (Shelley King) offers Stu a full time job at Speed Daal and a roof over his head but she makes a shocking discovery when clearing out the room for him.
