Corrie Stephen Reid’s secret second victim ‘exposed’ as fans ‘work out’ huge Stu twist

Coronation Street villain Stephen Reid may have taken another secret victim before killing Leo Thompkins, and fans think they know who it is.

The killer tossed Leo off the Underworld balcony and into a bin, before working to destroy all evidence of the cold blooded murder.

With his sights set on defrauding his mum Audrey, fans reckon Stephen could kill his ex-wife Gabrielle next in an attempt to further cover up his evidence.

But she might not make his second victim, as eagle-eyed viewers have worked out that Stephen killed someone else before ever coming to the cobbles of Corrie.

One fan has theorised that Stephen could be the real killer of Stu Carpenter’s so-called ‘victim’, Charlie Walters.

Stu was framed for the crime and served 27 years behind bars after being forced into a confession by corrupt police officers, despite protesting his innocence.

Coincidentally, the crime happened just one year before Stephen turned up on the cobbles in 1996.

One smart fan put the pieces together and took to Twitter to share their bold theory, writing: “#Corrie so Charlie Walters was murdered 27 years ago… one year before Stephen arrived in Weatherfield. Could he have murdered her?”

They went on to hint that ‘Stephen’ could simply be an identity he stole to get closer to Audrey, and wanted to return to the cobbles to snoop around at the scene of his crime.

The user said: “He could have a whole fake identity and only moved to the cobbles to cover his tracks better… #Corrie.”
