Connor Ball appeared to experience another nasty fall on the latest episode of Dancing on Ice and told show judges that a “blade” ran into his leg.
The Vamps musician put on a show-stopping display during props week on the popular ITV show, with his dance partner Alexandra Schauman in tow.
But the couple hit a stumbling block when a lift in their routine didn’t go to plan, leaving the couple falling to the ice.
When Connor discussed his performance with presenters Holly Willoughby, Phillip Schofield and the judges, the star looked evidently distressed but insisted that he didn’t want to see medics just yet.
However, it was clear that his injury affected him.
Seeing the events unfold on-screen, viewers rushed to Twitter to share their thoughts.
One fan penned: “Poor Connor! I hope his injury isn’t too serious. Props to him for carrying on!”
Another fan said: “I give Connor and Alexandra 8.5 out of 10.0. Connor, you need to work on controlling your energy, because that is the cause of all these falls. You are incredible, but the falls are a repeat thing. I hope you haven’t injured yourself too bad.”
A third viewer wrote: “Dancing with props is dangerous and they shouldn’t be made to dance with them!! hope you’re okay Con.”
While a fourth added: “Poor Connor has the worst luck doesn’t he, 2nd injury now and yet he’s still carried on skating like a champ.”
Although Connor has performed spectacularly on the ice throughout the competition he hasn’t been exempt from injuries and falls.
A few weeks ago, Connor hit his chin on the ice, moments before he was scheduled to perform on the show.
Later on, when he went to speak to the judges about his routine, his stitches that he received from medics burst in front of the entire nation.
Updating his fans online about what took place the following day, the star said: “Well, that was an interesting night… smashed my face off the ice then scored our highest score so far of the show!
“But honestly thank you so much to everyone that jumped in to help so quickly, everyone on the show is bloody awesome and I’m lucky to be surrounded by great people.”
