Dragons' Den stars distracted by entrepreneur who 'looks just like Robbie Williams'

BBC Dragons’ Den stars were left distracted by an entrepreneur who ‘looks just like Robbie Williams’.

Nick Johnson and Nick Graham pitched their premium alcohol business on February 3 to the Dragons in the hope they would invest in it.

However, Dragons Deborah Meaden, Peter Jones, Sara Davies, Touker Suleyman and new Dragon Steven Bartlett, were left doing double takes as the pair didn’t just share a first name with one another, but one had another similarity that could not be ignored, reports WalesOnline.

The pair explained their idea behind the alcoholic sparkling waters known in the US as “hard-seltzer”.

The duo, who have been friends since school, came up with the idea on holiday in Canada.

Their pitch went smoothly and they left the Dragons impressed with the taste of the fizzy drinks.

However, as Nick and Nick showed off their canned drinks and business model it was clear the Dragons were distracted with something else.

During the question section of the show, Steven Bartlett cheekily asked: “Have you ever considered being a Robbie Williams impersonator?”

Peter Jones quickly agreed and said: “From there up,” holding his hand across his face as a marker.

He added: “You look like Robbie. Robbie is a friend of mine.”

Nick laughed and told the Dragons he has been asked that question before.

He said: “I’m a less good looking version.”

Unfortunately the business partners were disappointed when the Dragons said they were “out” as they couldn’t see a way to invest in Nick’s business.

Recently, successful business owner Edward Hancock and his business partner Richard Simpson have shared what it takes to be a success on Dragons’ Den as well as behind-the-scenes secrets.

The pair shared how viewers only get to see a glimpse of the pressure that occur on screen.

For aspiring entrepreneurs, appearing on the show can catapult their business to a bigger audience, customers and clientele – or do the opposite.
