Eamonn Holmes' GB News co-star Isabel Webster 'heartbroken' to 'see him in pain'

Eamonn Holmes has raised concern from fans and co-stars recently after he has sustained a number of injuries.

His co-presenter Isabel Webster has called his condition “heartbreaking” as she has experienced his pain first hand while working with the Irish TV personality.

The 62-year-old has fractured his shoulder after he took a tumble at his home in Surrey, where he lives with his wife Ruth Langsford.

The fall comes just weeks after Holmes had surgery on his spine to treat chronic pain in his back and legs, but was forced to undergo more surgery after his fall came soon after the operation.

His injuries mean that he will need to rest and recuperate, most likely into the New Year which means he could be off our screens for the foreseeable.

Isabel, his GB News colleague, has admitted that she misses the presenter “just as much as the viewers”.

She spoke to Daily Mail journalist Richard Eden about her pal and explained: “It’s been heartbreaking to see him in so much pain, Eamonn has had such a run of [bad] luck.”

Isabel continued: “I know how much our audience is missing Eamonn and I am too.”

She’s admitted she is “heartbroken” for him

Eamonn’s representative spoke out about his condition and told The Express that he is “gutted.

They said: “He’s naturally gutted by the setback, but the good news is the surgery on his shoulder went well. He’s now receiving fantastic care and rest.”

They confirmed that “as a consequence of being laid low by major surgery,” he had “suffered a fall” and was forced to “undergo another operation”.

It was also made clear that “sadly,” he will “likely need a longer period off TV than he first thought” so that he can “get himself better and heal”.

Eamonn and Isabel have presented the news show together since January 2022 after Holmes left ITV.
