EastEnders fans are convinced Chelsea Atkins (Zaraah Abrahams) will be murdered by her controlling serial killer husband Gray Atkins (Toby Alexander-Smith).
The scheming solicitor has been on edge recently after receiving emails from someone pretending to be his late wife Chantelle.
Gray killed his former spouse in heartbreaking scenes in 2020 after months of domestic violence.
Worried that someone will reveal his dark secret, Gray is determined to find out who is behind the emails from “Chantelle”.
During Thursday’s episode, Gray asked Chelsea if anyone has said anything about him recently, revealing that someone is slandering him and she said no.
Chelsea later complained about a broken breast pump but he told her to keep trying.
As Kheerat Panesar continued to enjoy messing with Gray, Gray started to look at Chantelle’s dad Mitch Baker and Whitney Dean as suspects.
He took Mitch for a drink and began opening up about Chantelle but he soon realised it’s not Mitch behind the emails.
Meanwhile, Chelsea opened up to her mum Denise Branning (Diane Parish) about the breast pump and Denise told her not to listen to Gray and use formula.
Gray approached Whitney on the street and accused her but her shock proved her innocence.
As he returned home, Gray was left urious to find Chelsea using formula and slammed her hand in a drawer.
Fans of the BBC One soap are now convinced that Chelsea will be Gray’s next victim.
Taking to Twitter, one fan penned: “The pressure is getting to Gray & He’s cracking but will it be Chelsea who suffers for it.”
Another added: “You’re getting closer to the dishwasher Chelsea.”
A third person posted: “Chelsea REALLY needs to run now …like now.”
While a fourth social media user said: “Gray has physically lashed out at Chelsea. She better go to the police now and show them that injury.”
Chelsea had planned to escape her husband after Christmas after finding out that he was responsible for Chantelle’s death.
However, her waters broke and she later gave birth to their baby boy Jordan.
The lawyer’s grasp on his wife has since been made tighter following the arrival of their son.
Viewers will have to wait and see how long Chelsea puts up with Gray’s controlling behaviour.
Gray has murdered Tina Carter and Kush Kazemi as well as his wife Chantelle within the last two years.
