EastEnders is one of the sexiest soaps on television.
The BBC One series has been a British teatime staple since hitting screens in 1985 and has been responsible for many of the steamiest affairs, kisses and romps to air on the public service broadcaster.
With bombshells including Kara Tointon and Jacqueline Jossa stripping down to their briefs and stars Samantha Womack and Scott Maslen getting it on in the shower, the show has tantalised fans for decades with the occasional sprinkling of raunchiness.

Jack and Ronnie’s shower romp

Jack Branning and Ronnie Mitchell’s steamy shower sex scene almost landed the soap in hot water in 2016.
The on-and-off-again lovers reconciled their rocky romance in the memorable clip, which saw them arguing minutes before snogging in a hotel shower and stripping off each other’s clothes.
The passionate clinch drew ire from some fans on Twitter at the time, who debated whether the steamy clinch was suitable for the soap’s pre-watershed timeslot.
One fan wrote: “Gosh that was a bit full-on for pre-watershed.”
Another commented: “Hot shower scene @ 8:05pm!!”
Max Branning pulls off Stacey’s towel

Max Branning and Stacey Slater’s affair remains one of the most scandalous entanglements in EastEnders history.
As the pair failed to resist temptation, one memorable steamy moment saw Stacey return from holiday and be interrupted by Max while fresh out of the shower.
As Max removed her towel to reveal a naked Stacey, the market trader could be heard saying: “Max! My tan lines!”
The scene was re-enacted in a role reversal fashion in December 2017, as Stacey stumbled upon a topless Max with a towel around his waist.
Lauren Branning tries to seduce Steven Beale

Jacqueline Jossa joined EastEnders as Max’s daughter Lauren in 2010.
In 2017, her character set tongues wagging by stripping down to black lingerie in an attempt to seduce Steven Beale.
“I thought we can spice things up a bit,” Lauren said while feeding her beau guacamole and crisps.
While the actress looked stunning in the babydoll-style underwear, her character’s fledging hook-up wasn’t meant to be.
Lauren and Steven were eventually interrupted by Jane.
Sharon and Keanu’s steamy first kiss

Sharon Mitchell and Keanu Taylor’s affair came as a huge relief to EastEnders fans in 2018.
After weeks of flirting and sexual tension, the pair finally gave in to their mutual desires as they enjoyed a steamy first kiss in Sharon’s kitchen minutes after Phil had left for a long-term trip to Spain.
The raunchy moment was aided by Sade’s sensual jam Your Love Is King, which could be heard being played in the background.

Dawn Swann in lingerie for Phil Mitchell’s affair

Just like his ex-wife Sharon, Phil Mitchell once pulled a sexy neighbour a lot younger than him.
In 2009, the Walford hardman embarked on an affair with gorgeous barmaid Dawn Swann, played by Kara Tointon.
Dawn was engaged to her fiancé Garry Hobbs at the time so the pair’s steamy romps had to be kept clandestine.
In one memorable scene, Dawn was left waiting for Phil in the flat above Queen Vic, dressed in nothing but a skimpy bra and knickers set.
She eventually had to make a swift exit as the pair were interrupted by Garry. Awkward!
