West End smash hit Everybody’s Talking About Jamie has now been turned into a film starring Sharon Horgan.

The coming-of-age story was inspired by the 2011 documentary Jamie: Drag Queen at 16.

It is based upon the real-life story of schoolboy Jamie Campbell who battled against prejudice to become a drag queen.

This comes after Shane’s as his ex-wife Coleen Nolan said the EastEnders star’s wedding proposal to her was a disaster.

She moaned: “He just said, ‘Shall we get engaged then, or what?’

“The first thing we did was go for a McDonald’s – renowned for its intimate atmosphere – before finding a branch of H Samuel and buying an engagement ring for about a 100 quid.

“Not exactly Romeo and Juliet, is it?”
