EastEnders spoilers: Ben prison horror, Peter betrayal and unexpected reunion

EastEnders fans can expect plenty of drama next week as Ben Mitchell (Max Bowden) gets arrested.

Kathy Beale (Gillian Taylforth) spots Callum Highway (Tony Clay) offering Ben a small olive branch and encourages her son to tell Callum what exactly happened with Lewis Butler (Aiden O’Callaghan).

After bumping into Kheerat Panesar (Jaz Deol), who offers some advice, Ben decides to ask Callum to meet him.

Despite Stuart Highway (Ricky Champ) advising otherwise, Callum meets Ben.

After an incident in The Vic, a furious Callum snaps at Ben and storms off.

Meanwhile, a police officer updates Peter Beale (Dayle Hudson) , Rocky (Brian Conley) and Kathy on finding Peter’s attacker but admits they’re not having much luck.

Kathy tries to make things up to Peter and prove to him that she loves him.

However when Kathy rushes to support Ben after the incident with Callum, Peter feels his point is proven.

Back home, Kathy finds a devastated Ben struggling to deal with what’s happened.

Later in the week, Kathy is at her wits end with Ben and Peter’s bickering so organises a games night to celebrate Rocky’s birthday, insisting they must both be there.

She extends the invite to Lola Pearce (Danielle Harold), Jay Brown (Jamie Borthwick) and Harvey Monroe (Ross Boatman).

At Walford East, passions continue to rise between Peter and Dana and they begin to kiss and take each other’s clothes off, however someone spots them.

Rocky’s party gets underway but Ben could not be less interested in participating in the games.

Things get worse as tensions flare between him and Peter leading to a huge argument.

Ben goes on to shares some upsetting words to Kathy and drops a bombshell.

With the party over, Kathy is shocked when the police arrive to arrest Ben – Peter has reported him for the assault.

At the police station, Ritchie warns Ben that things are bad and he could be sent down.

Desperate, Kathy tries to talk to Peter but Peter refuses to back down.

Kathy gives the police her statement and tries to cover for Ben but will the police believe her?

Elsewhere, Sam Mitchell (Kim Medcalf) sees Zack Hudson (James Farrar) feeling sorry for himself over Nancy Carter (Maddy Hill) so offers some words of encouragement. They later flirt in the bar.

Also, Sharon Watts (Letitia Dean) checks-in on Kat Slater (Jessie Wallace) after some shocking events but the two struggle to remain civil leading to a huge showdown.

EastEnders airs Monday to Thursday on BBC One at 7.30pm
