Emily Atack branded 'fit' by Five's Ritchie but star 'wasn’t allowed to flirt with her'

Five’s Ritchie Neville revealed he “really wanted” to flirt with Emily Atack when he featured on Celebrity Juice recently.

Ritchie, 42, revealed this exclusively to the Daily Star and said that ITV2 producers actually stopped him from doing so behind the scenes.

The iconic boyband used to rock the nineties and noughties charts with banging tunes such as Keep On Movin’ and Everybody Get Up and on Sunday (April 10) they came back with an epic performance at a Snug event.

After the throwback gig, which saw Ritchie Neville, Scott Robinson and Sean Conlon hit the stage, the lads chatted exclusively to the Daily Star about some seriously naughty noughties nostalgia.

Talking about his Celeb Juice appearance, the topic came up about how panellist Emily Atack has asked show bookers to bring on people that she fancies.

Speculating on whether that could include him, Ritchie said: “Somebody did tell me, as I don’t watch stuff back as I would get into self-loathing if I did that, but someone said that she said I had nice arms. So, yes, Emily Atack said I’ve got nice arms. Boom!

Bandmate Scott Robinson then joked: “I think it’s Keith Lemon who fancies you.”

Ritchie then quipped: “Well they’re both pretty fit to be fair.”

When asked if he tried to flirt with The Inbetweeners actress on set, he revealed it was too much of a struggle.

He explained: “Do you know what, I wasn’t allowed. I felt awkward because they had all these mad Covid restrictions and they’re trying to bubble that cast cos they’re filming every week – but because I was an outsider they were like don’t go over there, don’t speak to them, you cant come within two meters so it was a bit awkward because they were like ‘come give us a hug’ and I was like ‘I’m not allowed’.

“But, believe me, I wanted to.”

Pal Scott then joked: “He doesn’t reach over two metres… Trust me, I’ve seen it.”

The Five boys performed to an intimate crowd at the Snug Presents event and played some of their biggest bops.

The crowd enjoyed a night of noughties action and comfy sofas, thanks to Snug, who are known for their speedy delivery, comfort and stress-free sofa buying.

Also, be sure to check out Five’s new album Time which is available on all music platforms to support the stars and listen to some of their new tunes.
