Emily Atack has claimed she lost out on big movie role after ignoring inappropriate texts from “work creep”.
The Inbetweeners actress, 32, says she was pushed out of the chance of appearing in a film after swerving messages.
The big screen production, which has been left unnamed, was offered to Emily, who was elated to be given such an opportunity at the time.
In her new book Are We There Yet? To Dignity… and Beyond!, Celebrity Juice star Emily opens up the inappropriate behaviour she had to endure, before being shoved out of the production and replaced with someone else.
The man, who she does not name, she worked with had spent a day saying “really inappropriate things” to her during one of the shoots for the upcoming movie.
He started sending blonde Emily uncomfortable text messages outside of work, to which she ignored.
Not long after, heartbreakingly Emily discovered she had been pushed out and replaced with another actress.
In her book, Emily says: “The shoot ended and, a fortnight later, all over the press were pictures of another actress in my role.
“I never received an explanation about why I’d been dropped – just one minute I’m doing it and im all excited to go, and the next thing I know there’s another actress doing it.
“Sometimes stuff like that happens, it just wasn’t meant to be.”
She said that five years later, it is still an upsetting experience. Emily said: “I’d like to think that now I would call someone out on such behaviour.”
She believes now she is older, she might have taken a “polite and firm” approach and tell her colleague: “Don’t say that to me, please.”
The TV star goes on to explain that she always thought about the other people involved. She said: “It’s hard if they’re married with children, which they quite often are.
“You think, ‘I can’t ruin this family. It’s gonna destroy those kids’ lives if they hear this about their dad.’

“They might be a complete creep but I will hurt a whole load of innocent people if I say something.”
In a disturbing turn of events, Emily told the public she had to ask the police for help after she was given rape threats online.
The scary threats were given by a stalker who knew where she lived.
Sometimes Emily receives sexual content from fans, and has had to seek help from the police. Disappointingly, online privacy rules blocked the police from locating the man who had sent her disturbing messages.
