Emmerdale ‘s Arthur Thomas has been hiding a huge secret from his nearest and dearest as fans have noticed his suspicious behaviour in recent weeks.
Viewers have been desperate to know what he has been hiding as he was seen panicking when April Windsor admitted to having a crush on him and asking him if he wanted to be friends with benefits.
He was also seen crying by his late dad Arthur’s grave, and Noah even told Marcus: “I reckon Arthur’s got a secret he doesn’t want to share with us.”

Fans have taken to social media to speculate whether Arthur could be the Rea father of Amelia’s baby, a secret which would be sure to leave the Dingles devastated.
One posted: “What if his secret is his the daddy to Amelia’s baby and not Samson?”
Another agreed: “You never know in Emmerdale, Arthur could be the father.”
A third chimed in: “To be fair she was drunk, so who knows if she slept with both and don’t remember.”
A fourth said: “Maybe he is and that’s the devastating news that the Dingles get. They lose having a granddaughter.”
But many wrote to say that they thought that Arthur may be hiding his sexuality, and he is actually gay, and Marcus is going to help him through it.
One said: “I was wondering if Arthur might be gay when April was trying to let him know she liked him.”
A second added: “Arthur is definitely gay and is struggling to come to terms with it. Such an important storyline if this is where it’s going!”
Could Arthur be gay, or is he hiding that he is really the father of Amelia’s baby daughter?
Meanwhile, Samson is still struggling with the idea of being a dad, clearly still very angry that his life hasn’t turned out the way he planned.
Next week, the teen refuses to attend his own daughter’s christening, leaving his dad Sam and his wife Lydia despairing over what to do.
Can they convince him to show up and be there for his child?
Emmerdale airs weekdays at 7.30pm on ITV.
