Game of Thrones' Peter Dinklage brands Disney 'f***ing backwards' for new movie

Peeved Peter Dinklage is slating woke Disney as “f*****g backwards” for remaking Snow White And The Seven Dwarfs.

The 4ft 4in Game Of Thrones actor, 52, raged during a discussion about wokeness he was “taken aback” when he heard about the live action reboot of the cartoon, which will star Rachel Zegler.

Dinklage – who suffers a form of dwarfism called achondroplasia – fumed: “I was a little taken aback when they were very proud to cast a Latina actress as Snow White.

“You’re still telling the story of Snow White And The Seven Dwarfs. Take a step back and look at what you’re doing there. It makes no sense to me.

“You’re progressive in one way, and you’re still making that f*****g backwards story about seven dwarfs living in a cave together – what the f**k are you doing man?

“Have I done nothing to advance the cause from my soapbox? I guess I’m not loud enough.

“They were so proud of that, and all love and respect to the actress and the people who thought they were doing the right thing, but I’m just like, ‘What are you doing?’”

Dinklage, who played Tyrion Lancaster in HBO’s Game Of Thrones, added he would have been “all in” if Disney had decided to put a “cool, progressive spin” on the fairytale.

Rachel Zegler, 20, whose mum is Colombian, will star following her acclaimed debut in West Side Story.

Gal Gadot, 36, has been cast as the Evil Queen.

Directed by Marc Webb, the film is being touted as an extension of the 1937 Disney animated classic.

The 1937 Snow White And The Seven Dwarfs film was based on the 1812 German fairy tale by the Brothers Grimm.

The cartoon has been branded everything from “dwarfist” to “fascist” by snowflakes.

Other bedwetters say it is “ableist” as the dwarves are seen as stupid, clumsy, dopey and shy, with Snow White assuming they are all kids.

An updated version titled Snow White And The Huntsman, starring Kristen Stewart, 31, was greeted with a backlash when it was released a decade ago as the dwarves were played by actors of average height.

They included the late Bob Hoskins, 71, and Ian McShane, 79, whose faces were digitally placed on small bodies.

Lobbying group Little People Of America compared it to “blackface” and threatened to mount a “100-Midget March” in protest.

The castings of the dwarves in the latest remake has not been announced.

The Daily Star has contacted Disney for comment on Dinklage’s Snow White outburst.
