Harry Styles helped a fan come out as gay during his sold-out Love on Tour gig at Wembley Stadium.
The 28-year-old singer was performing in front of the excited audience in the capital when he was passed a cardboard sign from the crowd.
The fan, called Mattia, had written: “From Ono to Wembley: Help me come out”.
Harry immediately accepted the challenge and picked up a rainbow pride flag and waved it back and forth while saying: “When I wave this flag above my head, you will officially be gay my boy”.
After pausing to build the suspense, the singer finally declared Mattia a “free man” much to the crowd’s delight.
Taking to Twitter after his Wembley gig, Harry gushed: “Wembley, last night was one of my favourite shows we’ve ever played. I don’t know where to begin thanking you, I’m completely overwhelmed. I’m so grateful, I’m so happy. Thank you, thank you. I love you all. See you later. H.”
The star was sporting a rather fetching part of heart-print dungarees while on stage at the London venue.
Harry wowed the 180,000 strong crowd over two nights at the weekend. but there was high drama at his Glasgow show earlier this month.
The former One Direction member was performing in Ibrox Stadium when a fan fell headfirst from a VIP viewing platform.
Marion Hawkins says her son Dylan Wood is now making an excellent recovery after the dramatic incident which saw him plunge from the top tier of Ibrox into the crowd below.
Dylan, 20, an electrical engineer from East Kilbride was on a work night out at the VIP box in the stadium when he lost his footing and fell over the barrier at the Scottish venue.
He was then rushed to hospital and placed on a ventilator in the high dependency unit at Queen Elizabeth University Hospital and was unconscious.
Horrified onlookers saw Dylan plunge into the crowd below from the Club Deck at the stadium as the show reached its final few songs.
Marion explained: “Dylan told me he was leaning up against the bannister in the VIP box and remembered thinking it was quite low down.
“He can’t remember exactly, it’s a bit of a blur, but he thinks he went to lean against it, misjudged it and fell back. It all just happened so quickly.
“He was knocked out and remembers coming to and getting a fright as people were grabbing at him. Paramedics were called and they got him out of there and worked on him in the ambulance before taking him to hospital.”
