Hollyoaks Vicky Grant star's life – co-star brother, second job and TV past

Bursting onto our screens as one of Hollyoaks most recent newcomers, actress Anya Lawrence immediately lit up screens across the nation back in May as Scott Drinkwell’s foster daughter, Vicky Grant.

The forthright and headstrong character ruffled feathers on the Channel 4 soap when she clashed with Scott and was accused of theft when Maxine noticed some items were missing shortly after her arrival.

The stunning teen also has ties to the soap prior to hear appearance, with her own brother taking on a role back in 2018.

It’s also not hard to believe that the raven haired beauty has a second career as a model.

From glamorous photoshoots to luxury vacations let’s take a look at Anya’s life away from the cameras…

Co-star Brother

She’s currently making her mark on the soap as Scott Drinkwell’s foster daughter Vicky Grant, but hardcore soap fans may have spotted the star’s brother in some episodes of the soap back in 2018.

Actor Gabriel Lawrence has appeared in Hollyoaks playing Max Owen from August 2018 to July 2019.

He was to be adopted by Tony Hutchinson and Jacqui McQueen, due to Jacqui’s infertility, but Tina and Dom decided to keep him.

His character became a pawn between several characters all vying to be his guardian. Max ultimately decided that he would go and live with Nicole in Greece in dramatic scenes.

As his big sister now takes her turn to shine as a soap star, the siblings clearly have a bright future ahead of them on the screen.

Speaking about joining Hollyoaks, Anya Lawrence told Digital Spy back in May: “Vicky is a whirlwind! She has had a really difficult start in life and is trying to find a place where she can fit in.

“I have come to love her, she is fierce and vulnerable, and those two contrasting characteristics make her fun to play.

“I am so excited to watch her develop and grow. Who knows what she will be up to next!”
