I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! viewers are convinced they have cracked a mystery surrounding Coronation Street star Sue Cleaver in Thursday night’s (November 10) episode.
Eagle-eyed fans of the show took to Twitter to claim to have worked out why Sue is exempt from the first eating trial of the new series.
During Thursday night’s show of the hit ITV show, hosts And and Dec revealed that the next Bushtucker trial would be an eating one.

However, the Geordie duo revealed Sue wouldn’t be eligible to take part in the challenge at the elusive La Cucaracha Cafe – and didn’t say any more on the matter.
As soon as viewers at home were told about the soap star’s exemption, many were left wondering why.

“Why is Sue exempt from an eating trial I’m A Celeb confused,” one viewer asked.
Another added: “How the hell can Sue be exempt from an eating trial?”
However, the armchair detectives then decided to take it upon themselves to find out the reason.
And while it hasn’t been officially confirmed why Sue has been spared from being picked, many fans reckon it’s because of her health.
“Does Sue Cleaver have diabetes? I thought I spotted an insulin arm patch on her and now she’s exempt from the eating trials,” one fan mused.

Echoing their thoughts, another user posted: “Sue has type 2 diabetes so I’d say it wouldn’t be safe for her to take part.”
Sue first opened up about her Type 2 diabetes diagnosis back in 2011, revealing to The Sun that she had to be rushed to hospital for treatment after collapsing on the Coronation Street set.
As Sue was spotted wearing what seems to be a Dexcom, something used by people who live with diabetes, fans praised the star for bringing recognition to the condition and not hiding her monitor.

“If Sue is diabetic glad that she’s actively showing the glucose monitor and not hiding it away like it’s something to be ashamed of,” one fan penned.
Another tweeted: “Fab to see Sue Cleaver wearing her Dexcom #positiverolemodel.”
“Sue slaying with her Dexcom,” declared a third.
