Boy George has been hit with an awkward blunder as an old video of him snubbing I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! has resurfaced.
Mere months before the star would have signed up to the show Boy George threw a cheeky swipe at Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly’s famous show.

On an episode of Ant and Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway in April, Boy George appeared on the show to perform his hit track Karma Chameleon.
In the clip Dec asks George: “What does Karma Chameleon mean?”, prompting the pop star to throw in a cheeky jibe at the duo.

George responded: “It means I’ll never have to say I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!”
The duo immediately reacted and shouted: “Argh!”, as Ant added: “That’s a real shame for us George.”
However, the star did add: “If you do a vegan version, I’m in!”, and so far this series he’s been able to have all kinds of vegan food – including for the eating trials.
As one TikTok user shared the old clip online, fans couldn’t help but crack up at the fact the star was now on the show and doing the eating trials.

However, he’s yet to shout I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!
As users saw the clip, one person wrote: “Then they paid him £500k, an offer he couldn’t refuse.”
While another added: “Cost of living crisis really affected him.”
A third added: “Wow, this aged well…”

Prior to his entrance George gave some true insight into what made him head into the jungle – especially after being so against the stint for such a long time.
He said: “I watch I’m A Celebrity every year and I had to think long and hard about this. But I feel like I am in a very fertile creative moment in my life.”
The star added: “I am bored of being iconic in the corner. This is the biggest show on TV and that is why I am doing it.”
