British TV presenter Andi Peters has become widely known for his squeaky clean image and bubbly personality seen on popular television shows throughout the years.
Known for hosting the competition segments on ITV’s Good Morning Britain and Lorraine, Andi first started his career in children’s television, hosting The Broom Cupboard, succeeding the likes of Phillip Schofield and Andy Crane.
As well as being in front of the camera, Andi has also worked on several TV shows behind the scenes too.

But it was the presenter’s short stint in the first series of ITV’s Dancing on Ice that left him rather annoyed with the outcome as he later revealed that he didn’t get on with his professional skating partner Tamara Sharp.
As the TV personality turns 52 today, Daily Star has taken a look at his unlikely yet bitter feud.
Booted off
Despite being a promising contestant, Andi and his professional dance partner Tamara Sharp didn’t last very long in the competition.
On January 21, 2006 the couple became the second to be eliminated from the show after the judges decided to save Stefan Booth instead.
Speaking positively about the programme during his eviction, the star said: “It has been such hard work but so much fun.”
Before their time came to an end, the couple received an overall score of 11.0 from the judges.
Scathing admission
Although Andi only appeared on the hit ITV show for a short period of time, it seems that there is still some bad blood between himself and Tamara 14 years later as Andi took the opportunity to share that they never really got along.
While discussing Denise Van Outen’s skate partner Matt Evers during an episode of Lorraine, Andi said: “The partnership is really important as I said. Me and my partner bizarrely all those years ago, we didn’t really get on.
“She used to refer to me to Torvill and Dean as ‘him,'” he explained.
Sharing insight into their feud further, he went on: “We’d all be on the ice and she would say to Torvill and Dean, ‘Tell him, he needs to…’ and I was like ‘I am here!’ but I would be stood at the side eating a chocolate bar.”
He added: “My partner wasn’t great.”
However while being interviewed by Andi, Denise insisted that her relationship with her dance partner was going great.
She said: “He’s been living with us which is lovely because we’d met Matt before the show and spent a bit of time with him, we said, ‘Look, why don’t you come and bubble with us?’
“We love having him here, he’s part of the family now,” she added.
What Tamara did next
Professional skater Tamara only appeared in the first series of Dancing on Ice and never made a return to the show.
Since leaving the programme, Tamara now works as a figure skating instructor for Chelsea Piers Connecticut. Her profile on the website reads: “Tamara is a USFS Double Gold Medalist in Figures and Freestyle. She competed for 11 years, turning pro in 1990.
“She starred in shows as a Soloist and Pair skater across North America, Europe and Asia. Since 1995, she has choreographed professionally. She was a cast member in the original Dancing On Ice series in London in 2006 and went on two choreograph 3 DOI series in Europe.”
Andi revives Dancing on Ice comeback
Although he only appeared in two episodes of series one, GMB star Andi did make a return to Dancing on Ice the following year.
Presenting the spin-off show Dancing On Ice Exclusive which dished all the gossip on the show, Andi bought and warm and fuzzy element to the programme.
However things took a turn for the worse when Andi suffered an accident while training with professional skater Kristina Lenko for an ice routine they were set to perform the following week.
Andi had a spiral fracture which caused him to be on crutches for six weeks during the show.
Speaking about the incident at the time, he said: “I didn’t think anything was broken until I looked down and saw just how big my ankle had swollen up.
“It was then that I began to think something major might be wrong. It was as if I had snapped a pencil in half.
“The last time I fell over on Dancing On Ice I only had a bruised bum, this time it’s a proper injury. Nobody should underestimate how challenging this show is.”
