Jamal Edwards reportedly had no money for his family left behind in his will despite his estimated £8million fortune.

Recent reports have revealed information about Jamal’s will.

His mum Brenda, step-father Patrick Edwards and aunt Tracey Parry were all listed as his executors, but they were unfortunately left with nothing.

Brenda, his sister Tanisha, aunt Deborah and his pal William were also listed as beneficiaries of his will, which he wrote in 2020.

The SBTV creator was well known in the music industry

The gross value of his estate was a reported £45,502.76 at the time of his death, but dropped to nothing as the net amount.

The 31-year-old died of a recreational drug overdose and back in August, an inquest confirmed cocaine toxicity in his body when he died.

The official cause of death was named as cardiac arrhythmia and the coroner concluded that it was drug related.

Jamal’s death shocked the country and left his mother in bits.

Brenda and the Loose Women ladies paid tribute to Jamal

The Loose Women host took time off from the presenting role after her loss and released a statement: “It is with the deepest heartache that I confirm that my beautiful son Jamal Edwards passed away yesterday morning after a sudden illness.”

She continued: “Myself, his sister Tanisha and the rest of his family and friends are completely devastated. He was the centre of our world.”

Some of his famous pals paid tribute to the music mogul and singer Jessie J opened up about his death, admitting that it still “doesn’t feel real” to her.

Jessie added: “I miss Jamal so much […] It still doesn’t feel real to me. He was a good friend of mine.”
