Jennifer Lawrence has told how she got pregnant in her 20s and was intending to have an abortion but then miscarried.
The Hunger Games beauty, 32, told Vogue magazine that she “had a miscarriage alone in Montreal”.
She suffered another miscarriage a couple of years ago and needed to have a surgical procedure to remove tissue from the uterus.

Jennifer – who now has a baby boy with her husband Cooke Maroney – opened up about her own experience as she reflected on the recent Roe v Wade decision.
The case saw the US Supreme Court overturning a law that had given pregnant women the right to choose to have an abortion, and sparked a major backlash in America.
“I remember a million times thinking about it while I was pregnant,” said the star.
“Thinking about the things that were happening to my body. And I had a great pregnancy. I had a very fortunate pregnancy.
“But every single second of my life was different. And it would occur to me sometimes: What if I was forced to do this?”
Jennifer and Cooke, who is an art gallery director, welcomed their little boy in February this year.
The pair – who tied the knot in 2019 after starting dating the year before – kept pretty quiet about their new arrival.
However, Jennifer and Cooke have been photographed out and about pushing their little boy in his pram and it is known that the baby is called Cy.
The actress told Vogue that the morning after she gave birth she felt as if her entire life was starting and that she was on day one.
Describing how she felt to the mag, the Silver Linings Playbook star said she was just “so in love” with her newborn.
