A Joan Rivers impersonator claims her spirit visits him at gigs.
Joe Posa was pals with the comedy legend before her death in 2014.
Eight years on he still regularly feels her presence – and it’s usually when he’s impersonating her on stage.
He told the Daily Star Sunday: “I am very spiritual and I summon her.

“Right before I go out on stage, I’ll say, ‘All right Joan, let’s do this… I need you to be with me.’
“Joan is with me throughout the show I do. I feel her. My whole body wells up.
“I feel like she’s with me saying, ‘You’ve got this, relax, you’re good.’”
When Joe dresses up as Joan, he always wears a pin badge she gave him.
He said: “Joan gave me three pins that were hers. They are of bees, which were special to her. I wear them on stage.
“There are moments when I can really feel her holding my hand. When it happens I’m thinking, ‘She’s happy that I’m keeping her alive.’ I get emotional.”
Joan sadly died at the age of 81 on September 4, 2014.
She experienced seriously complications during a minor throat operation and stopped breathing on August 28, until she was resuscitated an hour later.
The television star was transferred to another hospital and put on life support but died on September 4, after not waking up from an induced coma.
It was ruled that she died from brain damage caused by a lack of oxygen.
Joe has impersonated Joan for 25 years and once performed alongside her.
The comic is set to bring his world tour to the UK with a gig at London’s Crazy Coqs club on July 16. Visit brasseriezedel.com .
