Wearing funeral attire – a suit and tie, long black coat and black leather gloves – Ray J cut a solemn figure.

His attendance at the event followed fans growing concerned for the star after he shared a number of now-deleted posts alluding to suicidal thoughts.

TMZ reports Candace worked to get both Kanye and Ray J on the red carpet amid her feud with their shared ex, Kim.

Having branded The Kardashians star “a prostitute”, political pundit Candace also recently released an audio clip of Kim allegedly referring to Whitney Houston as an “old hag”.

Kim is claimed to have sent the message to her ex Ray J, who previously dated the late singer and Bodyguard star, during their own romance.

Earlier this month, Kim was reportedly booed “so hard” while attending an American football game alongside her son Saint.

Kanye has also received a ton of backlash following his controversial Fox News interview with Tucker Carlson, which was followed by him sharing a number of anti-Semitic tweets.

The controversial posts saw him removed from Twitter and condemned by a number of stars including Talk TV broadcaster Piers Morgan.

Earlier in the month, Kanye sparked fury by debuting White Lives Matter clothing during his Yeezy runway show at Paris fashion week.
