Kate Middleton is 'perfect in her role' claim Real Housewives' Rachel and Seema

Kate Middleton is taking on more roles within The Royal Family but Real Housewives of Cheshire’s Seema Malhotra and Rachel Lugo claim she is the “perfect” person to be the Queen.

Prince William, 39, and Catherine, 40, are second in line to the throne behind his dad, Prince Charles but many fans of the House of Windsor have already claimed Kate carries herself like a Queen.

Speaking exclusively to the Daily Star at the Pride of Manchester awards ceremony, the pair revealed they’d love to spruce up Buckingham Palace with Rachel’s interior design company and Seema’s eye for fashion as the brains behind Forever Unique.

But while the pair hope to renovate the palace, they say its future owners will be the best suiters for the role of King and Queen.

Discussing their favourite royals, Rachel said: “William and Kate, 100 per cent, I think everyone can relate to them.

“I think she is perfect in that role, the Queen has got to be chuffed to bits to have Kate by her side, Diana too.”

Seema added: “Diana was my favourite, I’ve just come back off a flight and I watched The Crown – Diana for me, the people’s person.

“Absolutely stunning, effortless, she was everyone’s Queen.”

Discussing their plans for the palace, Rachel said: “Get me in there, maybe they should change, a little bit more contemporary, something a little bit more up to date.

“Although it still is a beautiful building, you’ve got to work with the archicultural excellence.”

Seema: “Add a little bit of Cheshire to it, contemporary, some nice leopard print cushions thrown around – the building is insane.”

Reflecting on the upcoming season of Real Housewives, Rachel teased: “We’ve just started [filming], you’ve [Seema] been away and I’ve been away, so we’ve kind of missed a little bit of filming.

“It’s nice to be back with the girls, when we’re not filming, we find we’re so busy trying to catch up with people we’ve not seen, it’s nice to be back.”

Seema added: “For us, we don’t really get to have that girly time, we are genuinely excited to be back to see everyone.”
