Little Mix’s appearance on BBC’s The One Show is their final TV interview before they take their break after 10 years in the music industry.
The musical trio appeared on the show via a virtual link as they discussed their career and gave fans a final message before they go their separate ways for a while.
The One Show’s Alex Jones asked the girls if they wanted to give a message to their fans as part of their final appearance, prompting Jade Thirlwall to thank them for their ongoing support.
Joined by Perrie Edwards and Leigh-Anne Pinnock, Jade said: “Thank you for your support over the last 10 years. Thanks for keeping us around.
“Honestly, we’re so unbelievably grateful for all the support that we’ve had. We’ve really felt that on this tour, and we will feel it on Saturday.
“I think that last show is gonna feel really special. Getting to do that with fans all around the world – we still pinch ourselves that we’ve got to this point.”
Jade’s sweet message comes shortly after she explained that all three of the girls will be looking to try out some solo music.
When asked by Alex if they would consider any solo spin offs, Jade said: “I think we’ll all try a little something, won’t we?
“But I think what’s so lovely is that moving forward we’ve got each other to support each other, this is always how it’s been our whole adult lives.
“We’ve been in this group together to and we support each other. That’s not going to chance once we start doing our own thing.”
The One Show tweeted ahead of their appearance to say that they will be hosting Little Mix’s final TV appearance and encouraged fans to send a question via video to be played directly to the trio.
Fans didn’t hold back as they shared their sweet messages to Perrie, Leigh-Anne and Jade as they waved a goodbye – for now – to the trio.
Little Mix announced their break last year as they confirmed that their final show would be the Confetti tour in April/May.
The statement read: “We wanted to let you all know that after the Confetti tour in April/May next year we are going to be taking a break from Little Mix.
“It’s been 10 amazing years, a wonderful non-stop adventure, and we feel the time is right to take a break so we can recharge and work on some other projects.”
They promised fans that they were not splitting up, adding: “We have plans for more music, tours and performances in the future. We’ve made so many incredible memories with you all, and we can’t wait to make so many more.”
