Presenter Lorraine Kelly experienced quite a disruptive morning on Friday (February 25) as she was forced to apologise for missing guests on her daytime show.
Lorraine’s self-titled programme was thrown into chaos when her first interviewee Matt Willis was unable to make it into the studio for his chat because of traffic.
Due to the fact that no one was able to fill his spot, the Busted star spoke to the ITV veteran from the back of his cab.
But this wasn’t the only celeb who experienced problems on the show, as comedian Jason Manford also had technical issues before his interview too.
With all the calamities taking place, Lorraine was forced to apologise to viewers as fans were clearly confused.
Jumping onto Twitter one spectator penned: “Who is Matt Willis and why is he sat in the back of his car?”
Another viewer laughed: “Haha stuck in traffic with traffic driving past.”
While a third chimed: “Geezer should’ve just stayed in bed and done the call from there ffs!”
Matt, who was also scheduled to perform later on in the day told Lorraine that he may have to change his travel plans.
Speaking frankly he said: “If push comes to shove, there’s Collindale train station. I’ve already checked it and it’s about a 15 minute walk and I’ll get home and drive to Bromley.”
Laughing along, Lorraine replied: “Well I hope you get to the performance tonight my love with Waitress. It’s at Bromley church hall and thank you for talking to us.
“I’m so sorry that you’re stuck in traffic like that.”
But moments later Lorraine had to say sorry once again when comedian Jason was unable to be connected due to wifi issues.
Looking confused the ITV host reminded fans that problems often take place on live television shows.
She added: “We shall endeavor to get out Jason back, we are trying.”
But luckily for Lorraine, Jason’s connection was restored.
Giggling away, Lorraine chuckled: Jason! We’ve got you love. It’s so nice we are able to talk,” she laughed.
