Love Island fans turned to social media to voice their concerns over contestant Davide Sanclimenti after they noticed a bruise on his right cheek.
Davide was pulled for a chat by newcomer Nathalia, who expressed that she wanted to take him on a date but avoided it due to him being “closed off” with Ekin-Su.
Ekin-Su was not happy and to put her mind at ease, Davide decided to shut Nathalia down once and for all.

However, during the altercation some fans noticed something on Davide’s face.
One tweeted: “Davide looks like he has a bruise on his eye.”
Another said: “Does anyone else see a bruise on Davide’s right cheek?”
A concerned fan also added: “Is it just me who’s seeing a bruise on Davide’s cheek? Am I imagining things?”
Elsewhere in the episode, Ekin-Su and Davide had a heated exchange which was sparked by pineapple pizza.
Ekin-Su asked Nathalia what kind of pizza she liked, to which she replied “the Italian kind”.
Ekin-Su then asked Nathalia whether she “had a problem with her,” but a baffled Nathalia insisted she didn’t.
However, Ekin was determined for an answer – but got one she didn’t seem to like.
“Maybe you have a problem with yourself,” answered Nathalia, which clearly rattled Ekin-Su.
Eventually the girls decided to sort their problems out over a pancake competition the next morning.
Ekin came out wearing black and jokingly signed bits of paper for the girls as thought she was a celebrity and made her way over to the kitchen, while Nathalia entered wearing white.
Luca acted as the referee and the girls began cooking while Davide sat on the day bed, eagerly awaiting his breakfasts.
When the girls were finished, Davide was blindfolded and taste tested the two stacks of pancakes.
His final verdict came and Ekin-Su was the winner of the competition.
Luca announced the results and held her hand up in the air and Nathalia was a good sport.
She handed Ekin-Su a spatula as a trophy and told her that she was the best at making pancakes.
Ekin-Su was clearly happy with herself and walked away as the victor.
