Love Island star Andrew Le Page’s tattoo represents family bond and love according to tattoo enthusiast website, Tatring.
The day one contestant, who is currently in a couple with Tasha Ghouri, got his first inking on his forearm in 2017.
And although the tatt isn’t seen as much as fishmonger Luca Bish’s numerous artwork on his chest, Andrew’s tattoo has a strong meaning which could indicate more about his character.
Andrew’s tattoo design is of a geometric wolf, which according to research has several hidden messages.
And Tatring- a website where enthusiasts share their knowledge on body art- says those who opt for a tattoo of a wolf may want to highlight their strong family ties.
Tatring explains: “Wolves are strongly associated with family, because they live and hunt in packs, they have survived.
“The pack also gives them a territorial advantage against other predators. A wolf will only mate with one partner while the pair is alive because they mate for life. Thus a wolf tattoo can symbolise tight family bonds.”
The website also shared that a wolf tattoo can symbolise love and protection.
Although fans have questioned Andrew’s bond with his partner Tasha, the pair seem to be going in the right direction and became the first couple to enjoy a night together in the hideaway.
But on Monday night’s programme (June 20), the islanders discovered that viewers had been voting for their favourite contestants and one boy along with one girl will be dumped from the island on tonight’s show (June 21).
Believing that they were safe initially, both Andrew and Tasha saw themselves in the bottom alongside, Amber Beckford, Ikenna Ekwonna, Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu and Jay Younger.
After hearing the shocking announcement, fans only gave their views on who they think could possibly go home.
Taking to Twitter, one person wrote: “I’m sorry; I’m not usually one to comment on @LoveIsland but why oh why is Tasha and Andrew in the firing line tonight? They’re probably my favourite couple in there and genuine in my opinion.”
Meanwhile another said: “I feel like they’ll let Tasha and Andrew go home. This would have been the perfect solution but then it means Amber stays.”
Love Island airs nightly at 9pm on ITV2
