Prince Andrew The Musical has fans divided as they fume over 'disgusting' spoof

Channel 4’s new royal flick Prince Andrew The Musical was always going to get people talking – but it’s left some viewers fuming.

The tongue-in-cheek spoof which aired on Thursday (December 29) is an hour-long musical satire of Prince Andrew’s controversies and “very public fall from grace”.

The show covered it all, from the Duke of York’s relationship with ex-wife Sarah Ferguson to his car crash Newsnight interview, his friendship with convicted late sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, and his infamous child sex abuse scandal.

But others clearly enjoyed it, with one tweeting: “This is hilarious. No doubt the snowflakes will be up in arms rather than see it as being a P***TAKE.”

A second commented: “So I’ve just stumbled across #princeandrewthemusical… I am obsessed, so so good.”

How Europe Stole My Mum actor Kieran Hodgson, who played the Prince, said: “The story of Prince Andrew is tragedy and farce rolled into one, so why not add musical for good measure?
