Music superstar Adele has boasted of meeting God during a Caribbean holiday while “absolutely off my face.”
The Hello singer revealed paddling in the Jamaican resort, which inspired the James Bond films, changed her life forever as she felt an encounter with The Almighty.
Adele, who won an Oscar for singing Skyfall’s theme tune, recalled being in the presence of God wading at the idyllic Goldeneye bay – where 007 creator Ian Fleming penned many of the spy adventures.

The Londoner revealed that the water session was so emotional that she gave herself a baptism – feeling that God was close by.
The 32-year-old, who often speaks about her love for drinking wine, confessed she was “off her face”, but did not elaborate on what prompted that state of health.
Adele, who also sang a recent hit Oh My God, revealed her divine moment after being shocked by a group of guests, including model Amira Phillipps, at her Las Vegas show, who had flown in to see her from the Carribean island.
She told the audience: “This might sound weird. But I had a baptism in Jamaica in the ocean. I gave it to myself. It wasn’t not like official. I went into Goldeneye and I went into that water and I came out a completely different person there.
“I truly believe that God was there in that ocean.”
Adele ran into a little drama during her 2020 Jamaican holiday when she was accused of cultural appropriation after posting a picture of herself on Instagram wearing Bantu knots with a Jamaican flag bikini top and tie-dye leggings.
She seemingly referenced the social media drama speaking to Phillipps and her husband during her Sin City show, adding: “I don’t know if we should bring that up. The Americans didn’t like it, but they (The Jamaicans) loved it.
“Can you imagine if you came dressed as me when I was in Jamaica?
