Stacey Solomon suffered an awkward wardrobe malfunction after her knickers turned ‘transparent’ whilst lounging by the pool at Pickle Cottage.
The 32-year-old Loose Women star recently unveiled the new swimming pool at her Essex home following months of maintenance work.
Making the most of the sunshine yesterday (June 8), Stacey headed out into the garden with her youngest children for a quick dip.
She shared a series of snaps as three-year-old son Rex, who she shares with fiancé Joe Swash, played in the pool.
Stacey had only planned to watch Rex by the poolside, but was forced to get in on the action as baby daughter Rose also wanted to swim.
Speaking on her Instagram Story, she explained: “I didn’t bring myself out a bikini and a towel… school boy error.
“I just thought I was watching on and ready to jump in if needed. Then Rose wanted to get in, so I thought I’d just wear my old grey underwear and jump in.”
But after a man came to fix an insinkerator in her home, Stacey had to get out of the pool with “saggy knickers”.
The former X Factor star went on to share a picture of her soaked grey knickers, complete with tiny coloured flowers.
“Live footage of my granny knickers,” she captioned the post.
“Poor guy. Pretty sure the fact that they’re soaking wet made them transparent in places. Just living my best Bridget Jones life.”
It comes days after Stacey unveiled her incredible new pool with fans on social media.
The 32-year-old star slipped into a white bikini as she posed for a snap in the water alongside fiancé Joe and their youngest children Rose and Rex.
Sharing snaps on Instagram, Stacey penned: “Pickle Cottage Pool done. Finally! It’s been a long, crazy process but it’s finally finished.
“Today was a very exciting day at pickle cottage… I know lots of you ask all the time to see how it’s getting on so I couldn’t not share the ending.
“But I am always conscious sharing it. I often feel like this should have never been ours. Like I’m a true imposter.”
She continued: “And I’m so aware of how lucky we are to have been able to bring this pool back to life again. I’m so excited to forever love it and look after it and respect the water for as long as we are lucky enough to have it. PS. I’m the worst pool jumper ever.”
Stacey and Joe moved into the £1.2million Essex mansion, Pickle Cottage, last year.
The couple are set to tie the knot in the grounds of the property next month after previously postponing the big day.
Last month, Stacey took to Instagram in floods of tears after finally picking her wedding dress alongside sister Jemma.
Documenting the moment, she said: “Good morning from me and some words I never imagined I’d be saying. I’m picking my wedding dress today!”
