Strictly Come Dancing has an established reputation as BBC One’s long-running dance competition which has been on air since 2004.
For nearly two decades, the Strictly dance floor has been graced with a number of celebrity hopefuls and their professional dancer partners all competing to win the Glitterball trophy.
The family-friendly show is a favourite among all ages and Queen Elizabeth herself even had a soft spot for the BBC classic.

However, the not-so-PG side to Strictly prevails behind the scenes and the show has been riddled with relationships, reports of the so-called Strictly curse and a few celebs have even had their sex tapes leaked.
Keep reading to check out which celebrity contestants have been subject to the scandal.
Kym Marsh
The former Hear’Say singer is currently competing in the 2022 series of the show
Back in 2016, Kym’s world was turned upside down after it was reported that someone was trying to sell content of the singer engaged in intimate acts.
There was reportedly a video of her performing a sex act along with multiple X-rated pictures of the star.
The person selling the content was allegedly trying to get £30,000 for the 57-second video and during the incident, Kym said it had been “the worst week of her life”.
She was “sick to her stomach” and “extremely upset,” along with her family who were “devastated”.
However, three years later back in 2019, Kym made a lighthearted joke about her sex tap as she celebrated her 43rd birthday.
As she tried to blow out the large candle in the middle of her cake, her pals surrounded her and urged her to “blow harder”.
Marsh saw an opportunity and hilariously quipped back with: “I can’t blow any harder, I can’t! Have you not seen my video?!”
Her loved ones burst into peals of laughter as she cracked the joke and it appears Kym has decided to take the leak on the chin.
Mystery Man
One of the show’s former contestants had an explicit video of himself leaked online after he engaged in a less-than-PG Skype call.
The mystery man, who has been left unnamed, was recorded back in 2017 and the clip shows him stripping off and engaging in a solo sex act.
The video lasted for 10 minutes and was part of a scandal in which hundreds of male celebrities were exposed.
The contestant has never addressed the video and many of his fans have fought to defend the star after it resurfaced online while he was competing in the BBC show.
Ben Cohen
The former rugby player, who is clinically deaf, was also the victim of a sex tape leak back in 2016.
A two-minute video of the sportsman circulated online and showed Cohen performing on himself to the camera.
Screenshots from the clip were posted online and left the England rugby player “devastated” while it was reported he was fuming over the leak.
The video was stolen and published without Ben’s consent or knowledge and the former Strictly star insisted it was taken when he was single.
Ben’s spokesperson also said that he had concerns about the leak regarding his family and was worried that his three daughters may stumble across it when they are “old enough to use the internet”.
The star’s spokesperson also said that he was seeking legal advice following the brutal leak and confirmed that the “matter was with his lawyers”.
The incident did not affect his relationship with partner Kristina Rihanoff and the source confirmed that they “remained in a happy relationship”.
Ben shares two twin daughters with his first wife Abby Blayney but the couple separated in 2014.
Since his stint on Strictly, he and his dance partner Kristina Rihanoff have embarked on a relationship and welcomed their first child together back in June 2016.
Cohen has a large LGBTQ+ following after he quit rugby to tackle homophobia full-time.
He set up his charity StandUp back in 2006 and has used his platform to speak out about homophobia, which was inspired by his father’s murder.
