The Apprentice fans have been left baffled after spotting an apparent ‘leak’ which they believe has clued them in to who will be fired every single week.
Each episode, the project manager of the losing team has to choose two other candidates to bring back into the boardroom to face the wrath of Lord Sugar – with him firing one or more of the three in front of him.
And some Reddit users believe this ‘spoils’ the show each week for them, as they already know who will be fired.
Taking to the platform, one user said: “I think it’s pretty obvious who gets fired each week when the bottom three are announced.
“I don’t know if anyone noticed this but if you look closely at the trailer for each episode, you can see what direction Lord Sugar is pointing at.”
They added: “Therefore whichever candidate sits in the seat that Lord Sugar points at they get fired.
“For example, in the trailer for this episode it was shown that Lord Sugar is pointing in the left direction so basically whoever is sat in that seat is gone.”
Another viewer added: “Me and [my partner] used to try this. But we’d get caught up in the show and forget which chair we were supposed to be looking for!”
“Fun trying to predict who is going to be fired next week in #TheApprentice from watching which direction Lord Sugar points in the trailer!” someone else echoed.
Back in 2015, the trailer even clued fans in to who won the show overall – with the honour that year going to Joseph Valente.
At the time, eagle-eyed fans wrote: “Joseph will win I saw the finger point to @Lord_Sugar ‘s left where he was sitting.”
“#TheApprentice on the trailer Joseph is sitting on the left and Lord Sugar’s finger is sightly pointing in that direction!” another added.
Thursday’s episode (March 3) saw the candidates tasked with selling products on a TV shopping channel.
Along with a high ticket item – which for one team included a stunning ring, products included an inflatable flamingo, solar powered owl lamp and snail face cream.
And fans were left in hysterics as the candidates tried their best to flog the owl lamp, dubbing it “handmade by hand” over and over.
The Apprentice continues next Thursday at 9pm on BBC One.
