He further went on to reveal that he won a British silver medal for modern jive following his love of dance.
Viewers at home were blown away by the contestant’s impressive CV.
One gushed: “Blumming eck Joe better smash it seems like an impressive fella! [sic]”
“WOW! Joe is brilliant! He should be a chaser!” added a second.
A third penned: “Joe is class! Incredible career. Go, Joe!”
Joe bagged £6k in his cash builder round before taking on Chaser Paul Sinha in his head-to-head.
Despite refusing the higher offer, Joe didn’t disappoint, easily taking back his £6k to the podium.
Contestant Stand had already bagged £7k which brought the total up to £13k.
Medical student Prathi chose the lower offer of £500 after a poor performance in her cash builder but was still caught by the chaser and sent home.
Player June also disappointed fans by choosing the lower offer of minus £1k, but secured her spot in the final chase.
The trio answered 20 questions correctly and managed to fend of the chaser to take home £12k, leaving them £4k each.
Despite their team effort fans blasted player June for being part of the winning team when her only contribution was taking £1k away from the prize pot.
One fan said: “When a minus taker WINS the win at the end is hollow and unfulfilling.”
“Oh F**k off June that’s stealing!” blasted a second.
“A third penned: “Glad for the boys …as for June……. !!!! GTFO!”
